Harry's Harbour is a fledgling charity who's goal is to provide fast, free help and support for teenagers & young people. Approximately six years ago, Harry Dunn was killed. His twin brother Niall has set up this charity in his name along with Meg Jones who is also a founder.
Portland Bill was Harrys favourite place hence the light house. The charity is a safe harbour for those that need them.
Funds raised go towards paying the therapists that see our clients, fundraising days/events, advertising in our local area and keeping our 2 employees afloat. The charity helps and guides young people through their school experience and the challenging few years that can follow it. From us and our clients.
Thank You for your belief and support! Niall and Megs x

Harrys Harbour was established by Niall Dunn. The charity is named after his twin brother Harry who was killed tragically in 2019. Harrys favourite place was Portland Bill and so Niall felt it was fitting to have that as the logo.

Niall feels very passionately about supporting young people’s mental health. He has become aware of how acutely difficult it is for teenagers and young adults to access mental health support through the NHS. A lot of these people are at breaking point with no one to turn to.

Niall himself has experienced first-hand, how disabling it can be when living day to day with mental health issues. It can feel such a lonely place and having someone to listen without judgement can make a huge difference. The power of feeling heard and understood can massively help a person start to feel more in control of their life and how they are feeling.

Niall has collaborated with Donna Jones who is a Psychotherapist and founder of Brackley Wellbeing Centre and Megan Jones who is a child art therapist to come together to create Harrys Harbour.

Harrys Harbour is a charity where we provide free support, befriending and therapy for teenagers and young adults. These services can be face to face at Brackey Wellbeing Centre, in local schools or online.

We are going to run support groups, workshops and offer support around issues such as Neurodiversity, LGBTQ+, anxiety, bereavement, depression, self-harm, low self-worth and loneliness.

At Brackley Wellbeing Centre, we will be offering an open-door policy at certain times during the day where people struggling mentally can come to the centre and speak to Niall and Megs free of charge. They will be greeted with a safe welcoming place to talk through how they are feeling along with a cuppa. If needed he will then refer the person to see one of our therapists.

We are hoping to ultimately offer the support online all over the country to be able to reach more people.

Funds raised will go towards advertising our services, running workshops and paying the therapists (most of the therapists have agreed to see clients at a reduced rate). Our aim is to always be able to provide free support and therapy for all who need it.
